About me
I’m a phonologist based at the University of Edinburgh. I am originally from Russia, and I did my undergraduate degree in Moscow. I then completed a PhD at the University of Tromsø, at what was then the Center for Advanced Study in Theoretical Linguistics (CASTL), under the supervision of Bruce Morén-Duolljá. My thesis was on phonological representation and substance-free phonology, with two case studies from Brythonic Celtic; if you are interested, you can read it here. I then spent a year at Ulster University before moving to Edinburgh in 2013.
I have a CV, a fairly detailed website with copies of much of my work (although it hasn’t been much updated in the last year or so), and an official university profile.
My email is pavel.iosad@ed.ac.uk.
